Every outdoor market in Land O' Lakes runs on a slot like "second Friday" or "fourth Saturday." None of them is simply weekly. Because of that, "is there a market this weekend?" depends on which week of the month it is. Until now the answer for the third Saturday was no. That changes on Saturday, Nov. 21, when the new Land O' Lakes Community Market opens on the Event Field at Land O' Lakes Heritage Park, 5401 Land O' Lakes Blvd. It runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. After that it repeats on the third Saturday of every month.
Once you know the week-of-month pattern, the fall calendar is easy to read. Here is how the schedule fits together, along with the dates I'd circle between now and the end of December.
The slots each market already holds
Land O' Lakes markets come from a few different organizers, and each one claimed its own slot on the calendar.
Friday Moonlight Market at The Hub at Bexley is at 16954 Focus Loop. Florida Penguin Productions lists it on the second and fourth Fridays, 5 to 9 p.m. It's an evening market. The organizer is recruiting "night-friendly vendors with unique items, activities, and community sponsors," and says food trucks can't attend. Since there are no trucks, eat dinner before you go, or plan to eat at one of the Focus Loop restaurants a short walk away.
Bexley Market on the Lawn is at the Bexley Clubhouse, 16950 Vibrant Way. Community Markets & Events says it runs monthly on the fourth Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entry is free, and a $10 wristband covers unlimited Kids Zone play.
Woodland Farms is at 9318 Bahia Loop. It isn't a market, but it gives the calendar a weekly anchor that the markets don't. The farm is run in partnership with its parent company, Omega Tree & Nursery. It describes itself as a chemical-free agritourism farm with food gardens, Florida native plants, pollinators, and pasture-raised goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys and quail. Woodland Farms is open Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday by appointment. The farm also hosted an evening Moon Market on Oct. 3.
Line those up against a month and you get this:
| Week of the month | Friday | Saturday | Sunday |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | Woodland Farms, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. | Woodland Farms, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. | No market |
| Second | Moonlight Market, The Hub at Bexley, 5–9 p.m. | Woodland Farms, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. | No market |
| Third | Woodland Farms, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. | New: Land O' Lakes Community Market, Heritage Park, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. | No market |
| Fourth | Moonlight Market, The Hub at Bexley, 5–9 p.m. | Bexley Market on the Lawn, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. | Starkey Park market, New Port Richey, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. |
The table makes the pattern clear. The fourth weekend is crowded. The first weekend has no market at all, so the farm is the only option. And the third Saturday, which sat empty until now, gets a market of its own starting in November.
Why the Heritage Park market changes the most
The Bexley markets both happen around Focus Loop, near State Road 54 and Memorial Highway in the south end of town. The new market is at Heritage Park, on Land O' Lakes Boulevard. Land O' Lakes already gathers at that park for its civic events. The organizer is advertising local vendors, artisan goods, food, family activities and a SWAG Party Rentals Kid Zone with a $10 unlimited-play wristband. The listing also says, "Bring the whole family — and your four-legged friends too!" So dogs are welcome.
One thing to watch for before your first visit. The organizer's event page lists a Dade City address in one of its subtitles, but the event details and contact block both give 5401 Land O' Lakes Blvd. Head for Heritage Park.
The second date on the calendar is Saturday, Dec. 19. That makes a mid-December weekend at Heritage Park easy to plan, as the holiday section below shows.
The fourth weekend, and the Sunday that isn't in Land O' Lakes
This month's fourth weekend is Oct. 23 through 25, and it shows how stacked that slot gets. Friday brings the Moonlight Market at The Hub. Saturday is the Bexley Market on the Lawn "Tent or Treat Edition" at the Clubhouse, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday is the Community Market at Starkey Park, which runs on fourth Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free entry and parking.
Starkey Park is easy to mistake for a local spot, but the venue is Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park at 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd. in New Port Richey. If you live on the west side of Land O' Lakes, it's a reasonable drive for a Sunday morning. It just isn't in town. Its next dates are Nov. 22 and Dec. 27.
Where the rotation hits the holidays
This year the fourth Friday in November is Nov. 27, the day after Thanksgiving. The fourth Friday in December is Christmas Day. The Moonlight Market's posted schedule would put a market on both nights, but the organizer's listing says nothing about holiday exceptions. An Eventbrite listing for the same market gives a first-and-third-Friday schedule instead, which conflicts with the organizer's page. I'd go by the organizer. Its listing links to a Facebook RSVP page, which is the best place to check before a holiday Friday.
The Bexley Market on the Lawn has the same issue. The fourth-Saturday pattern points to Nov. 28 and Dec. 26, but I haven't seen either date posted as its own event yet. Treat both as likely, not confirmed.
The Heritage Park market avoids all of this. Its third-Saturday dates, Nov. 21 and Dec. 19, don't land on a holiday.
Heritage Park's own calendar fills in around the markets
The new market lands in a park that already holds Land O' Lakes' seasonal events. Here is everything on the Heritage Park calendar for the rest of the year, in order:
- Saturday, Oct. 17, 7:30 p.m. The 10th Annual Spooktacular BellyDance Show at the Heritage Park Civic Center, according to the Patch Land O' Lakes calendar.
- Thursday, Oct. 29, 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Little Pumpkin Bash at Land O' Lakes Heritage Park, $2, listed on Pasco County's recreation registration site.
- Saturday, Nov. 21, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. The first Land O' Lakes Community Market on the Event Field.
- Saturday, Dec. 5, noon–8 p.m. Parrandón Fest, a Puerto Rican Christmas celebration. Advance tickets are under $9 per person, same-day admission is $12, and children 12 and under get in free.
- Friday, Dec. 18, 6–8:30 p.m. Christmas Community Gathering, $2, also on the county's registration site.
- Saturday, Dec. 19, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. The December Community Market.
The last two items fall back to back. The county's Christmas Community Gathering is on Friday evening, Dec. 18, and the market fills the same park the next morning. You could do your holiday shopping from local vendors on Saturday after the community event the night before, without leaving Land O' Lakes Boulevard. No other weekend this season puts two events at the same venue on consecutive days.
One more name to watch on Focus Loop
The Moonlight Market brings people to Focus Loop on Friday nights, and a new restaurant is in the works there. Bengaluru Cafe by Amma's Cuisine is a planned vegetarian South Indian cafe at 16860 Focus Loop, first reported by WhatNow Tampa in June. As of an Oct. 9 restaurant pipeline listing, it was still described as a fall 2026 plan, with no confirmed opening. If it opens before December, Moonlight Market nights would get a dinner option on the same block.
